I'd say your rankings are pretty fair, and accurate. I wouldn't change your rankings of the continents.

IMO though, France isn't the top team in Europe right now. They're just at an akward stage of partial rebuilding I think. They're still formidable, but I'd put the current Italian squad and a healthy Czech Republic in front of France at present.

As far as Asia, your top two are the right teams I think, but I'm not sure Japan is better than Iran. Iran is superior technically, but Japan has structure and continuity going for them. I'd say they're even right now, but I have a feeling I might be putting Iran in that number 1 slot after this World Cup.

After Iran, Japan, and Korea, there's a considerable drop-off in ability. I'd put Saudi 4th and China 5th.

Your African rankings are pretty fair, but I'd slide Egypt up to number 2 (admitted bias, though it's my honest opinion) behind the Ivory Coast. I think those teams were by far most impressive in both the African World Cup qualifiers (Egypt scoring the most goals, Ivory Coast ending up winning the group of death) and the African Cup (they met in the final). Africa would look like this for me right now: 1) Ivory Coast, 2) Egypt, 3) Ghana, 4) Tunisia, 5) Cameroon. Senegal might be up near that 5 spot too. There's not a lot seperating the top tear of teams in Africa though. Ask 10 people who their top 5 are, and you might get 10 different answers.

I think your South and North American rankings are spot on, just swap Ecuador and Colombia.

You're right, I forgot about Tunisia and they should definitely bump Morrocco off that list. Also, Egypt with Mido should be ranked higher than Ghana.

if we're gonna contiinue going crazy then Northern Ireland are more likely to wint he World Cup than England - they beat then 1-0 last year.
