Vafaei up against Jack Lisowski in 15 minutes in the next round of UK Championships (after a huge win against Selby). His odds (per the bookies) are actually quite good for this match (much closer to his opponent than the other match ups in this round).

          Good luck Vafaei!

Massive win today in the Masters against three time champion Mark Selby (bet Selby is sick of
playing against him now). It means he is through to the quarter finals of one of Snookers biggest events.

Thanks for the update. Who is he up against next and what are his prospects?

                    “I can’t believe it."

“Am I asleep or awake? Honestly, I can’t believe it. He’s such a tough opponent, he never gives up. He’s such a legend and it’s such a pleasure to share the table with him."

“I’m so proud of myself to beat him again. He’s one of the greatest ambassadors we have so I’m so happy to do the hat-trick against him.”

I really hope he doesn't face Lisowski again, he seems to fall to him in every since tournament I get invested in!

                        Vafaei has Selby's number

                            Match stats Lisowski vs. Vafaei

                            Matches
                            Played: 7

                            Lisowski: 6 (85.71%)
                            Vafaei: 1 (14.29%)
                            Drawn: 0 (0%)

                            Frames
                            Played: 49

                            Lisowski: 32 (65.31%)
                            Vafaei: 17 (34.69%)

The odds are certainly not in his favor, though has has beat Lisowski once. Which is why I just placed $50 on him to win the whole thing LOL!

They are playing now. Best of 11 and he is 3-2 up, he is behind in the 6th frame though.
