11.12 is a great time. The barrier to hit is under 11 seconds - if she can do that then you are looking at someone who can get to at least the semis of the Worlds/Olympics. The standards are crazy at the moment though , even running under 11 seconds can’t guarantee you a final.
Must be a weird season for Taftian, he wasn’t at the Worlds - I am guessing that may have been something with them being in USA? I know some athletes had visa problems.
The next Worlds are next year and Olympics in 2 years so hopefully he can build on his times. Shame that time was wind assisted but hopefully that gives him the confidence to show he can run under 10 seconds.
