2017 FIVB Volleyball World League

Today the 2017 FIVB Volleyball World League starts for Iran, with first game against Italy, in Italy, at 20:00 CET.
I'm not a world champ in starting threads in here, so I just thought I would provide the basic information

Thanks for the thread Abtin. I was too lazy and was waiting for someone to do it.

Italy is missing its two best players Osmani and Zaitsef. We are also missing Mousavi due to injury and Mahmoudi due to his temporary leave from TM.

Hope we do well. I am not sure we can win againt Italy. We lost badly against Poland in Friendly. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Game to start in a min. you can watch it live here.

Actually Iran played really bad italy wasn't strong at all they were missing zaytsev and we were missing Mousavi so that evens out, Brazil and poland are both stronger than Italy it will be tough .

Watching this I can say two things:
1) we position our players way too bad, leave to much empty space to take advantage of.
2) those shirts are sexy AF, wouldn't mind if Merooj sponsored TM!

Our volleyball team is always mentally unprepared. They lose focus in the worst times (always towards the end).

This isnt about who is better at volleyball, its who is psychologically and mentally prepared. Our team always start bad and end bad...

Brazil won 3-1. Not a good display by Iran, they could have won 2 sets at least to get the 1 point.
