btw for the first time ever Iran secured the team title in Greco Roman World Junior Championships even before the evening finals ! quite an achievement. and they really deserved it. looks like the future of our Greco isn't that bad after all

some of these kids will make the senior team soon.
Sure, but they will get robbed by referees anyway.
Greco Roman has turned into such corruption show.

          The Team results:

          Men's Freestyle Juniors: Russia
          Greco-Roman Juniors: Iran
          Women's Freestyle Juniors: Japan

Overall very good if you consider both styles, but very sad that we are no longer worlds top in our own style

Lats gold you can watch here

Of course, but at least in freestyle you can score some points and try to match the gap, while in greco it is almost impossible to win against both referee + opponent as the level is so close and the possibility to score points is really rare (maybe except 59 kg).
I believe that only Mijain Lopez or Aleksanyan can win in such situation.
On the other hand, some wrestlers own everything to referees such as Stefanek or Ryu from Korea (even Kudla).

Very true! The gold medal that Stefanek got in Rio was just unbelievable, this guy shouldn't have been near a podium at all. Shows you just how corrupt it is.. And all because of Lalovic, UWW president who is also from Serbia.

I believe that we all love and hate this sport at the same time.
Actually it is more than just a sport for Iranians.
