who were those 2 big guys at the end of the highlights? i hope to see them this aggressive against better teams. This team can do much better, Kazemi needs to do more, not sure why he's still shy on offensive end. He has so much potential.

South Korea beat New Zealand but only by 1 point and it doesn't change anything, NZ won the 3 way TB, Lebanon 2nd and Korea 3rd.

which means if we win the group which is very likely to happen, we have to play the winner of Lebanon-Chinese Taipei in crucial QF match.

Today's game is against Jordan, 18.30 local time (Lebanon). Jordan have won their first two games, so this will most likely be our toughest group game. I have no doubt it will still be a relatively comfortable game though, predicting a win by 12-15 points.

Honestly wasn't the best performance from us. Need to step it up if we want to beat Australia/Philippines.

Side note: I always feel more Iranian after eating joojeh kabob lol

Haha no doubt, our Norooz trip to Hamburg this time with a visit in a Iranian restaurant was legendary, I could feel the Aryan blood being stronger [emoji23][emoji108]

so after all we have to play the host team Lebanon in the quarterfinal. as the FIBA commentators called that the game of the tournament.

Lebanon is still a good team and playing at home makes them even better and as I said before they hate Iran more than any other team and that will be hostile situation. Lebanon still relies mostly on grandpa Fadi El Khatib and this guy is still good at the age of 38. they would lose to TPE tonight if it wasn't for El Khatib.
