IRIB fucked up the hole thing once again.
For almost all the 4th quarter sound was 20s ahead of picture due to their own mistake while doing censorship.

We could have won this match much easier and earlier.
With all respect to the coach, he should have changed Haddadi in some parts of the game as it was obvious that today he was not in a good shape (obviously because he joined the team only 2 days before the start of the tournament). For once he was not even in top 4 of scorers, therefore he needed rest at it was not useful for the team.
Arghavan has the same size as him compared to the very small Korean Cs, we could have used his heigh as well, even for 5 minutes to give a new breath to Hamed.
We also have Niktash on the bench which is a good player for rotation at position 4 also.

Our 4s were very good today. Sahakian is a great help for the team when we are in trouble in offense and also on the other part of the court. For some minutes we could see some moments of the old AK as well.

Yakhchali and Jamshidi are very good in this tournament, especially behind the line. They have turned into our main scorers instead of Hamed and Samad.
However, Jamshidi missed 2 very important FT at the end which could have been very costly.
Overall we made too much stupid falls and gave too much easy points to Korea which shows that the defense is very problematic. Our defense was actually just joke during Q2.
Mashayekhi and Dalizahan are very good also. Especially the latter one at the end of Q4.

Thank God we finally have some 3 pt shooters. In the past we sucked at making 3s so it killed us against better teams.

what a game, Korea played really good and made it really hard for us. but I agree we could win the game much easier, when you play against teams like Korea you should know they never give up even after 21pts lead in the 1st quarter, if you give them chance ,they will take it to make momentum for a comeback.

terrible coaching tonight, they had to bench Haddadi much earlier. that was his worst night , maybe in his entire career with the national team, but after all he is human and that happens for everybody.

and have to say that was probably the best game I saw from Arsalan Kazemi after a while. he played great in both ends tonight. Sahakian also helped the team in crucial moments. and both Jamshidi and Yakhchali had another great night. Jamshidi is actually the leading 3pts shooter of the tournament !

I hope we win the gold but Australia is the heavy favorite here, considering our situation, even silver medal is still a great result. but I hope they bring a better foreign coach which is a bit unlikely now with gold or silver medal finish here.

If anyone can make it happen it's the soldiers of TM basketball. It will be the toughest game of the tournament so far for us, but let's show the world what we're made of!
