Crazy thing is Haddadi has been useless this game. It's been all Mashayekhi and Jamshidi.

Well, he is the most important player for sure.
He is very precious for Rebounds and any time we struggle in attack.
Without him we will suffer in Rebounds even against such team.

But coaching was terrible. Hamed almost played the whole game. He could have given some time to Arghavan in 2nd and 3rd quarters to rest him.
Apparently the plan was to get a 10+ lead at any cost before 4th quarter to avoid pressure, which is logic. But still Hamed is old and we can't use him for 40 minutes.
Yakchali and Jamshidi are very capable also, even Mashayekhi was very useful. On the other hand, both our 4 were disappointening.

WOW Haddadi posterized that tall black dude towards the end. Kazemi was going for a dunk, he got fouled but they didnt call it, Haddadi got the ball and dunked in the dude's face!

Not the best of performances again but we got the job done. We need to be more efficient if we want to beat Korea in the semis, they were crazy today against the Philippines.

Very very happy for this result, that was a tough game against the host team and apparently they booed the Iranian national anthem before the start
Agreed not the best performance but QF is always tricky specially against the host team, so I'm happy with the win no matter what. Hatami had to bench Hamed in 3rd quarter for Arghavan who played well when they gave him time. remember we won the game with 6 players, it doesn't work against Korea but I believe we will play with a different tactic .
btw Yakhchali and Jamshidi are becoming key players. but tonight I believe that was Mashayekhi who saved us in crucial moments. that was his best game in the NT. our biggest problem is in this position , our second PG Aslani isn't any good. we played few minutes without a point guard !
