Hey guys,

I like that there are specific team threads for fans to talk on here but I feel like having a general thread for the premier league will gain interest and discussion from more members. In this thread we can discuss any news, results, transfers, etc. in regards to all teams in the premier league. Feel free to share what teams you guys support! Good luck to everyone this season.

This weekend is the start of the 2017/2018 season and below are the first fixtures:

Friday Augusts 11th:

Arsenal vs. Leicester City - 19:45



Saturday August 12th:

Watford vs. Liverpool - 12:30

Chelsea vs. Burnley - 15:00

Crystal Palace vs. Huddersfield Town - 15:00

Everton vs. Stoke City - 15:00

Southampton vs. Swansea City - 15:00

West Bromwich Albion vs. Bournemouth - 15:00

Brighton and Hove Albion vs. Manchester City - 17:30



Sunday August 13th:

Newcastle United vs. Tottenham Hotspur - 13:30

Manchester United vs. West Ham United - 16:00

I really hope Arsenal can win the title this year, as always [emoji23] City, and maybe Chelsea are the favorites tho, IMO!

Also hoping for Brighton to do well enough to stay in the league, since I have relatives from there + it's been a long time since they last played in the top flight [emoji123]

Wish I could say the same, thought it was going to turn into the first game last year where Arsenal lost.

its the same story every year with Wenger. I cant support a club that doesnt try to improve when it can. There are certain cases where your club goes through turmoil or financial problems or whatever so you can have a period of being shitty. But Arsenal got money and they can do well, they just dont want to it seems the club owners are just happy with the way things are so they continue.

Buy a new trophy stand to hold all their FA Cups & Community Shields. Seems like they've become obsessed w/ these two competitions in the past 4 years LOL

But at the end of the day, as long as Stan Kroenke doesn't sell his majority shares the club will be run the way he wants it-as a for-profit organization that values money over trophies. The only path to change is if fans boycott matches, but even if they do there's always people who will take their places, especially tourists. Like it or not, we're being held to ransom by the higher ups in the club.

Ya exactly its just stuck in a money making loop for these people. Truly sucks for the fans. I like competition and would like most well known teams be competitive in Europe again. I guess lets see if Wenger can pull of a Europa league trophy at least
