After our great TEAMMELLI, I'll be cheering for Poland in the WC.

Used to live there, my favorite European country, and girlfriend is Polish. I kind of hope we get them in the groups, so I can banter my bird, but I'm afraid Lewandowski too koonemoon bezareh.

I hope Russia do well as well, as long as it's not in Team Melli's expense.

I watched this youtube video about this Polish girl who has a persian boyfriend. She went and visited Iran and stayed with her boyfriend's brother. She made several videos about her time in Iran. The comments on the videos are all by Polish people and the content of their comments are horrific. I also grew up with some Poles and they were insanely racist to Muslims and anyone with a skin color darker than theirs.

I am glad the US is out. Overwhelming majority of their population does not care about football. In fact, many outright despise the sport. In their media, they always ignore football results or outright make fun of the sport and anyone who follows the sport.They even created an entirely different sport and out of spite named it football. A sport that doesn't involve a ball and 99% of the time does not involve their foot being used to kick that 'ball'.

I am very happy to see USA miss the WC. They literally had the easiest road to WC and still can't do it. I am hoping one day CONCACAF and COMMNEBOL combine so USA earns their way to the WC. Either way, long term I find this good for US Soccer.

1. Big changes will be happening, Bruce Arena will be fired and they will hire a bigger name foreign coach
2. MLS will make some changes too
3. Older players such as Howard and Dempsey will be gone, opening doors for youth.

MLS made the USMNT stronger when it was created back in 1996. But the arrogance of the US soccer federation made them think they can make MLS as good as a top league in Europe. So they held back many top talents from Europe and made them play in MLS, which didn't make them better. You can see this by how many 33+ players are playing for USMNT. They are old and crusty, and MLS refuses to let the younger players go to Europe. This is why they failed. Most of what Klinsmann said is correct, yet he also made a lot of stupid mistakes by selecting trash players.

This also goes for the Liga MX players, they should be playing in Europe. Most of Mexico's players play in Europe, that's why Mexico has improved.
