Anyone know why Omid Sekenari is not in the squad? He was a star and a joy to watch in Asian games 2014.

he is injured. but I don't think he would make the starting line up because of Masaeli. he could be a solid backup though. Masaeli had to play the entire 60 minutes today if I'm not wrong. back in Incheon, most of our top players boycotted the team (long story ... ) that was almost a B team we sent there.

after 27 min Iran is under 10-12 against Saudi

Irans left wing Amin Kazemi plays well, the rest are way to emotional in this game...
So many missed chances, saudi doing their best of every chance or maybe hits the bar, we miss really bad. I hope this change.

I can't believe some of the occasions we missed, especially by Sajjad.
Rahimi is much better than Babasafari, we should play him and Heydarirad from now on.
Now we have to win by at least 3 goals against Korea to remain alive.

what a disappointment but nothing new with our handball

I have to say the officiating was TERRIBLE in first half, we got so many 2 min suspensions for nothing but the 2nd half ,we lost to our own mistakes. we rely a lot on Esteki brothers and when they had a bad day today we were weak on offense. even though Sajjad still scored so many goals.

we could at least lose by less than 3, now we HAVE To beat South Korea by 3 or more. to be honest I think we are almost eliminated right now.

there are 3 sports, I always expect a lot from them and they always disappoint me, Handball, Boxing and Judo and this never changes ...

It seems that this young Korean team isn't that impressive.
They had great difficulties against both UAE and Oman.
If we return to our real level we will most probably win, even comfortably.
But on one hand we were just horrible today, on the other one Korea will use officiating in its favour at 200%.
We also need to win by big margin (3+).

We suck so bad trailing korea 7-3 now and they’re not even that good, what ballened to all our european league super stars why cant they beat even lowly asian teams
