If Austria loses we are 1st, in any other case we are second. As there are only two groups, we will probably face the 3rd (if we are 2nd) of group A in the quarterfinal, so possibly Czech Republic, Australia or Poland.

Iran just beat Czech Republic on penalties to advance to the semifinal for the 2nd time in a row !

our guys could win the match in regular time, they missed a penalty stroke in last minutes of the match, never mind our goalie was great during the shoot-out, saved two and sent us to the semifinal

We win after penalty shootout against Czech Republic. Semifinal will most probably be against Germany, who were first in group A and current world no.1. They won 6-5 against Czech Republic. Three years ago we lost against Germany two times 13-2 and and 11-3.

we lost 6-2 to Germany, they scored two goals in last two minutes but to be honest they were the better team and our goalie saved us so many times. that was a fair result. Germany is World #1 for a reason !

I hope they recover and win the bronze medal tomorrow. except Germany any other team is beatable

Austria won the whole tournament in the shootout, but to be honest Germany was better. Anyway, we drew Austria and our performance against Germany wasnt too bad. 3rd place actually reflects this quite well.

Great tournement from our guys!!!

If I compare last time vs this time its a big difference. Last time we were lucky to get to semifinals and only won 2 games in the whole tournement.
This year we played great winning a lot and only loosing 1 game and easly winning the game for the bronze.
The loss we had against Germany was fair, germany played really well and our keeper needed to save us a lot, he even saved a penalty in the beggining of the game.
