Wow, I am so proud of the Iranian team. The German commentary was Ofcourse talking about politics. And I have to be honest, I was touched when she looked to the Iranian flag and was so touched that her eyes have been filled with tears.
This is gheyrat and pure love for your country.
I am absolute proud.
What was the deal with Iran's team members not receiving their Samsung Olympic phones? I saw the flag-bearer very emotional on the opening day. I doubt there was a connection to the mix-up.

As I understand it, Samsung didn’t give phones to athletes from North Korea or Iran in order to comply with international sanctions against those two countries
Of course. Literally all winter-sports are for rich people.
I went on a cheap student snowboarding trip to the french alps for 5 days and it cost me over 1k!

Hear hear.
I thought most winter sports were an excuse for rich people not to have to compete with the poor.

Hell yeah, snowboarding's really fun. I'm on my university's ski & board team and we compete against fast racers from all around the US, some of which are Iranian-Armenians. If Iran were to snatch up these athletes from all around the world like the hockey team, we'd have a decent showing at the Winter Olympics in the years to come.

The Iran Ski Federation is much like all other Iranian Federations unfortunately, very poorly organized and managed
