Iran Women's Handball

Our women's handball TM is competing in the West Asian Championship in Jordan.

We won our first match against Iraq 43:8.

For those who want more info about this team:

We finished 6th at the 2015 Asian championship and 7th at the 2017 Asian Championship.

We won our second match 29:19 against Lebanon

Actually this is not the national team but a club team from Iran , they didn't have time to prepare a natonal team , instead they sent the last year league champion plus probably few additional players from other clubs. the level is low here though

It is still our national team, it is just comprised of players from Lorestan Province. However, our actual national team is much stronger.

These are amazing results. Playing Handball is very hard and exhausting. Now imagine you have to do it with long trousers and cover on your head.
