we are already through to the second round, as long as we win the remainder of our games and Iraq doesn't make it through, we will likely qualify fairly easily for the World Cup

how do you know Arsalan didn't give his number to him willingly ? they looked good together. no problem as far as I saw, unless some people create problems again

World Cup is the main qualifier for the Olympics, we have to finish higher than other Asian teams to qualify for the Olympics, Australia and New Zealand are competing in Asian Qualifiers but they are not included in Olympic qualfiers from Asia. so we have to ccompete with China and Philippines for that Olympic spot. unfortunately Chna being the World Cup host will get an easier group in the World Cup and will have a great advantage over us for the qualification. after all the World Cup draw matters a lot.

unfortunately we will carry our Iraq's loss to the 2nd round no matter what , even if Iraq doesn't make it. that's FIBA new rules. all 1st round results are valid for the next round.

we will have Australia, Philippines and Chinese Taipei. top 3 and maybe even top 4 will qualify. (depending on China's position in other group) I think that won't be a problem for us, even though we should not underestimate anybody.

nothing, have to wait till June for the next "window" we will play Qatar (away) and Kazakhstan (home) in next window to finish the 1st round. I expect us to go with a 5-1 record to the next round where we will be grouped with Australia, Philippines and Chinese Taipei (or maybe Japan)

our last qualifying game will be at home vs Australia on February 2019.
