Sandro Wagner appeared to burst into tears in training after finding out he didn't make the German preliminary squad, article shows team-mates consoling him.

(What's up with all the depressing football news all of a sudden today...?!)

Spain has also anounced their squad, only highlight is the omission of Morata.

they forgot (besides Morata) Cesc Fabregas (Chelsea), Javi Martinez (Bayern), Sergi Roberto (Barca) and Hector Bellerin (Arsenal) and Ander Herrera (Man United)
Some big names like Fabregas are left out

Did anyone out ofFabregas, Alonso and Bellerin even deserve to be in that Spain squad ? They have all had pretty poor seasons by their standards, especially Alonso and Fabregas.
Though Alonso could of been a winger option given that Spain have no width in attack.

Argentina's final squad is in. Midfield is an embarrasment.

Wow, no Icardi! And Higuain is included again after screwing up in three finals.
When will they learn from their mistakes?

No one on the Argentina team wants Icardi in. He's hated. He is viewed as a snake and a bad person because of the nature of his marriage.

Goalkeepers too. Their first choice goalkeeper is a bench warmer at club.

No Nainggolan for Belgium. Martinez is a pussy coach.
                          Whole Belgium is furious.

I can't see Belgium getting further than the Quarter Finals with their coach. They do have the players for it though.

Me neither, first Wilmots, now him..
With a Van Gaal much more was possible.
You need a Nainggolan like Holland needed Van Bommel, chili Vidal, germany Ballack..but not only that, the guys keeps playing wit a 3 back line up. Has no flexible play and is stubborn.

What do you guys look forward to the most in each group?

Group A: A 3-way battle between 3 teams, could come down to who scores most against Saudis.*How many calls Russia gets in their favour, and of course Salah vs. Suarez
Group C: I really rate Peru. Denmark is also a nice team. France has the best squad in the tournament. The battle for 2nd place will be epic. Huge first game between Peru vs. Denmark
Group D: A really weird group that not a single result between any given 2 teams will surprise me. Sadly I think Iceland has peaked and will finish bottom. Argentina is very Messi dependent, they could fuck up finishing top spot.
Group E: I predict lots and lots of goals in this group in gaames that don't involve Switzerland (literally the West Brom of national teams)
Group F: Germany to easily finish top and Mexico second. Boring group for me unless we can get a surprise out of Sweden/Korea
Group G: Another boring group....but England always struggles vs. African teams in WC. Be interesting if they fail to beat Tunisia first match
Group H: Another open group! Hopefully lots of goals. Senegal are great, Poland and Colombia both have decent teams and Japan always ends up contrinuting to at least one entertaining game. I'm going to Poland-Senegal , I think 2 of Poland/Colombia/Senegal will go through. Tough to call it now!
