If he had been born and lived in Australia all his life I think it would have been much easier to accept.

Before judging this kid, do we know what his parents situation is with the Iranian government? What if the dad is persona non grata in Iran? What if the dad is. Baha’i or some other minority in Iran that gets persecuted?
Trust me there are many Iranians who can not go back to Iran for some reason or the other. Let’s just let it be and leave the kid alone. You don’t have to root for him, but the hate is just ridiculous.

Glad this cheap guy wasnt even considered to be invited to the National team
He went licking the shoes of the australians and talked very snobby about joining Iran as if we cared for his presence
Arzan=cheap in farsi
The guy is both cheap in name and personality
Also I doubt in play he can match any of our third division playersچو ایران نباشد تن من مباد

So maybe he didn’t have a choice but to represent Australia.

I don't know why people are making it so complicated. The reason he chose Australia is very simple: they offered him a chance to be on their World Cup squad while we didn't. All this talk about gheyrat or national allegiance or family pressure or political issues is nonsense. Have CQ offer him a starting position in TM for the World Cup and see how quickly he will say that he has always felt Iranian.I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.
