Arzani has choosen...IRAN or SOCCEROOS?

The reason he chose Australia is very simple: they offered him a chance to be on their World Cup squad while we didn't. All this talk about gheyrat or national allegiance or family pressure or political issues is nonsense. Have CQ offer him a starting position in TM for the World Cup and see how quickly he will say that he has always felt Iranian.
He did a snobbish interview demanding starting position from Iran and also stating my heart is with Australia and will only play for Iran if given a chance to play
Thats like someone’s wife marrying him for the opportunities he has while having her heart elsewhere
At the end of the day it is about loyalty, allegiance, respect, and not seeing your self above the team or the nationچو ایران نباشد تن من مباد

Guys,
As someone who has watched several matches of this guy, I can assure you he’s nothing special. Yes he’s a good winger, but nothing special at all. What particularly made me very irritated watching him, is how rude and aggressive he is all the time, always whining and picking fights. I don’t think I have seen a player as annoying with such piss-poor attitude as this guy. So be glad that he’s staying away from Team Melli, as he could messing with our team’s team spirit and team dynamics and bring all sorts of drama with him.

Also his off the pitch manners were extremely rudeچو ایران نباشد تن من مباد

Guys, I am as disappointed in all of you that Daniel chose Australia over Iran, especially considering how he was born in Iran.
But the thing is, chances are he would have considered playing for us had we called him up for the WC (or even a friendly for that matter). But what would the point of calling him up just to cap-tie him be?
At the moment, while there is no doubt that he is talented, he's not good enough to make the final 23. Australia are in a more desperate situation than us with regards to their level of talented youth, which is why they've been in such a hurry to cap-tie him, whereas CQ has been more cautious; it shows the difference in the wealth of talent we have at our disposal even with the political/sporting disadvantages we have compared to Australia.
Plus, at the end of the day it's a personal choice that I myself as an Iranian with mixed blood can understand even though I don't agree with it.
The best way to show him what he's missing out on is to put in an admirable performance at the WC; believe me, by then he will realize what could have been but he won't be able to change his decision anymore.
Otherwise, just let him be.Twitter and Instagram: @aryo__hadi

Don't think he will regret his choice seeing how Iran struggle to get decent friendlies, a normal kit/sponsorship, lot of controversies (this time with sanctions) aound Iran every time, and final thing : he will receive plenty of European offers while our young talents will be snubbed big time (Just see what is happening to our U17 star, U20 and senior team : only relying on party bazi from Charleroi owner, Berdyev, Panionios + crap trials).
