    2018-19 UEFA Nations League

Looking forward to this in all honesty. There needed to be something done regarding international friendlies because they are pointless and not really worthwhile, so having a competition in place is a positive for me.

I’m not quite sure how the format of this works in all honesty, I find it a bit confusing but I’m sure I will pick it up.

Wales could play an amateur side in the Uefa Nations League on Sunday after Denmark released their entire squad over a dispute about commercial rights, appearances fees and bonuses.

I can't believe this. Balotelli is back, under Manchini of all managers!

Better second half from the Italians, though a sloppy kind of game from both sides. A needless tackle from behind by Kuba, giving away a penalty was enough to give Italy the draw.

Scotland have been perennially shit ever since I can remember, and as someone who enjoys international rivalries whether a big one or not.

It would be good to see a competitive Scotland fairly regularly to properly ignite the rivalry with England.

England/Wales is generally a Rugby rivalry and the hatred mostly driven by the Welsh. England/Ireland isn't really a rivalry and just a breeding ground for far right knobheads to sing No Surrender. England Argentina is spicy but inconsistent, England/France is firmly out "second" rivalry if you were to rank them but England/Scotland, regardless of differences in size, player quality, league quality etc is generally driven by an equal amount of hatred and if they were to meet at a tournament final like with Wales and it be a close game then it'd be a classic.

I enjoyed the tournament so far. A great deal of improvement over friendlies

After watching their game against Italy Portugal can play in the manner they want to. Santos can create a squad that plays in a particular manner, as opposed to a squad that plays for Cristiano Ronaldo. Is Cristiano their greatest player of all time? Probably, but the team will no doubt be more coherent without him, as he isn't the type to sacrifice himself for the team, the team sacrifices for him.

Portugal have a lot of very talented players in their early to mid 20s and they should definitely be contesting for the next Euros and World Cup.

LOL in Italy's last 9 games they only have 1 win (2-1 against the 8-0ers), 4 ties and 4 losses. This in top of not being good enough to qualify for the World Cup. They currently truly suck.
I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

^ The thing with Italy and Netherlands is that they are not willing to go through a changing phase like Germany did during the early 2000s clinging on their methods that worked decades ago but not today

Had Spain not been muppets against Russia, had Lopetegui not wanted to do an impression of Judas Escariot... I have no doubts to put my neck out and say Spain would've been in the final and confident of winning it.

                    Spain 6-0 Croatia

Well first of all, woooow Spain just rolled over Croatia, they were also way to hyped imo, but anyway, I like this tournament, it's good stuff.

Croatia have got to be one of the worst finalists in recent memory. The football they played in Russia was never all that great and they failed to win in regulation in the knockouts, all their wins coming from penalties or extra time. They had good improvisation but had an easy road and this is a reality check for them as was the final against France.

That's not to erase the unforgettable cup run they had, they deserve to celebrate that and remember it, but there was a reason I said I didn't rate them back in June and July.

Given France picked Sakho and Zouma whilst Spain have gone for Jonny and Morata I get the impression that not many nations are taking this seriously.

Netherlands called up a player named Denzel Dumfries.
