Job pretty much done in the first half and it was always going to be the case that Spain would come out much more offensive. Bit nervy and tense in the final few moments with Spain piling so much pressure on but that's one of the best first-half performances I've ever seen from England. Didn't give Spain a sniff and had control of the game from defence all the way through to attack. Kane/Rashford/Sterling linked up very well.

Didn't help in the 2nd half with some sloppy play - twice by Pickford - and the nerves seemed to be contagious once they piled more players forward.
Great result nonetheless. Don't think many nations can go to Spain and play them off the park like England did today.

Been a good international break for England. Creditable draw away in Croatia and 3 points to bring home from Spain. In addition to the front 3, been very impressed with how Barkley, Winks and Chilwell played today. And Pickford for the first half with his array of passing and accurate distribution.
