Such a satisfying win. Conor with his illegal knee, hooking gloves, clinging onto the cage with his toes bullshit, and Khabib STILL picked him apart. Exposed the difference between a trash-talker and true warrior.

I wouldn't accept that in a sport, great publicity as a one time thing for UFC but also a complete embarrassment and just highlights how inept they've been at managing this fight.

Do not feel sorry for Dana or the UFC, they used the bus incident to promote this fight, allowed McGregor to talk as he has done to sell the fight and are partly at fault for the outcome. The men hate each other.

Dont feel for McGregor, shit thing for the "men" jumping the cage to do but the amount of shit he's spoken throughout the build up a reaction of this magnitude isn't completely undeserved.

Khabib has obviously been filling up with hatred after the stuff Conor said about him, and whilst you could try and make an excuse for him he let himself down as well as the UFC.

All three parties in the wrong but it was entertaining and they'll all make their monies worth so I'm sure no one really cares.

But the UFC has just looked completely amateur after that. Sure if there's a rematch Dana will ramp up the publicity over all of this.

Connor and Danis repeatedly called Khabib and his teammates Dagastani rats and Muslim rats. They insulted his father, his religion, and his country. I totally understand hyping up a fight and selling it. But there are limits. Imagine if Khabib said something about Connor's family.

UFC needs to clean up the WWE crap.

What do you think would happen? Would the UFC invade Dagestan? :P

Although I agree Conor had it coming, still stupid of khabib to do that.. He should've stayed in front of Conor and added as much as salt to the injury as possible without touching him.

FYI, Khabib did talk shit about the Irish (after Conor started obviously) and say Conor's grandpa had actually joined English forces and killed Irish men.

Man, I don't know what was Connor thinking trolling a dude from bloody DAGESTAN.

Dagestan is a tough tough place to grow up. These guys are born to fight, very serious people. No body messes with them, hell even Ethnic Slav-Russians never mess with Dagestanis and Chechens...they just let them be and manage themselves (hence Kadyrov).

Calling Khabib a Dagestani rat or his coach a terrorist or make fun of his religion and non-drinking may be a "banter" and a marketing strategy for Connor to promote the fight and make more $$ , but to someone of Khabib's upbringing he's there for honour and dignity, not necessarily just the fame and $$.

Khabib remembered all the shit Connor said and did the talking in the ring. Good for him.

While Connor was being raise on soy-latte milk when he was a kid, Khabib was wrestling bears at 9.

There was always only gonna be one winner...

lol the ending scene of the fight was bound to happen. dana white is a money maker. he sat in-between khabib and conor and enjoyed conor talk down to khabib, his family, religion, race, teammates, etc. not only that but he also let conor promote his alcohol, open it and ask a non drinker to have a shot, conor called him an ass backwards cunt, all while dana laughed hysterically. khabib at one point was a huge conor fan... the buildup to this fight could have been done in a more respectful manner, but dana wanted to take the $$$ route

dana should have told conor to tone it down, but didn't. they even used to bus incident to hype the fight. ufc is much like wwe now. so what khabib supposed to do? he's from dagestan, its a different way of life overthere as elnino99 pointed out. if khabib was wrong for jumping the cage, even though danis signaled for him, then is conor right for throwing a dolly at a bus where he injured 4 fighters and almost blinded 1? is conor right for talking about khabibs family, sponsor, and teammates? is dana right for allowing this to happen? most athletes get fined for swearing on live camera or drinking alcohol at team sponsored events, yet dana let conor do that without any consequences. dana white couldn't be any happier, although is beloved conor got his ass whooped, at the end of the day, dana made money and the ufc got even more exposure due to khabibs heroics at the end.

also there are videos surfacing online of drunk irish fans taunting khabibs fans, who KO the irishmen back to the future. dagestan aint no joke

I agree with everything you said but McGregor also came from a shitty and rough background and was living on benefits untill he made it big.

Avars are actually closer to Armenians than Iranic people. Both Avar and Armenians can be traced back to the people of the Hurrian Empire. The general theory is that Armenians were the result of Hurrian and Urartians mixing and Avars were the result of Hurrian and Ancient Mongol tribes mixing.

The Sarmatian Knights that would later influence the legends of King Arthur and his Knights of the round table, however, were of Iranic origin as Sarmatians were Iranic people
