Milan police chief Marcello Cardona says he will request a block on Inter fans travelling to away games and the closure of their curva at San Siro.
Inter’s 1-0 win against Napoli ended in shame as four fans were stabbed, one died from being hit by a van and Kalidou Koulibaly was racially abused.
“There were more than 100 ultras involved in the clashes, among them ones from Varese and Nice,” Cardona said at a Press conference.
“These were very serious incidents, so I’ll ask the public order committee to stop Inter fans from travelling to away games for the rest of the season and request the closure of Inter’s curva at San Siro until March 31, 2019, or for five games plus one in the Coppa Italia.”
Irrelevant fines for clubs doesn't seem to work. If it means empty stadiums every week, then so be it. It's the only thing that will effect these sort of people.
