What do you think about sending Hadi to the Asians, while we have the Olympic qualifiers in 1 month ?
Couldn’t them send Zare so he can earn some experience and send Hadi to the more important OQT ?
Even though both are able to get the quota easily.

I think they consider Zare better than Hadi right now. mostly because of Hadi's injury. so they want to save the better guy for the Olympic qualifier ! even though I agree with you. I would send Zare to the Asian Championships.

as for Saravi, he doesn't cut weight so it probably doesn't hurt having more competitions. he is new to this weight and maybe our coach things more competitions will help him to adjust faster. but in general they sent Takhti Cup winners to the Asian Championships. both Hadi and Saravi won the Takhti Cup.

one of our guys Yadollah Mohebbi finished 8th in World Champonships last year (top 6 was enough for Olympic quota) but now it's confirmed that two of those guys above him tested positive for doping. we were supposed to send Amir Hossein Zare to the Asian Olympic qualifiers next month.

so far we have 6 quotas in wrestling, 3 in freestyle and 3 in Greco-Roman

Asian wrestling championships going on this week. Parviz Hadi lost against Kazakh with a fall. I don't think he has much chance for Olympics now.

that's what they say but mathematically they are not qualified yet.

there are two World Cups left, apparently one of them in Italy got cancelled because of the coronavirus. Iran will miss Tokyo only if Iran doesn't participate in last world cup and China wins gold or silver. that's almost impossible but still mathematically ...
just participation in the last WC in Hungary will be enough to secure the quota in "Men's team sabre" for Iran.

about wrestling, there are so many strong wrestlers the world has, hadi parviz his match showed that, who thought anyone can win 10-0 over parviz hadi with a fall

I still prefer to think the Olympics will happen, when Japanese officials claim they can do it, I think we better trust them.

today was very important for our weightlifting, it was the "return" of our Olympic Champion Sohrab Moradi. we were supposed to send a bigger team to West Asian Championships but only Sohrab made it because they sent him few days early before massive flight cancellation.

but his result was disappointing in Dubai. only 370kg. I think only 1 competition is left, the Asian Championship. Moradi needs a big big result there to make up for all these lost points. but it's impossible to improve 30-40kg in less than 2 months. he still has a chance because other countries are also facing suspensions and limitations but I think his fate is not in his hands anymore.

he has to go to the Asian Champs and lift as much as possible and then wait to see what will happen. but unfortunately I have to say right now his chance looks very slim.
