Of course if we fail to achieve that we still have another shot to qualify at the continental tournament afterwards.Last edited by _Navid_; 06-10-2019, 01:52 PM.

So basically we have to finish above Russia in that group which means beating them in the direct match, since the other 2 teams should be easily beatable.

The key to it all - youth development. The moment we start doing the same in football - the results will speak for themselves.

Amazing indeed. You know I never thought I would see these days in our volleyball. I remember in my youth days the rare occasions that we used to make it to the world champs we already expected to lose all group matches 3-0 even to the likes of Puerto Rico. Getting a set from China, Japan or Korea was a big achievement back then. It all changed when our youth teams started performing on world level in early 2000s.

This tournament has nothing to do with Olympic qualifying.
And that's why Italy, USA and some other teams are testing younger players.
But I maybe wrong!

Lets hope and pray our volleyball doesn’t get destroyed by media and hashiyeh etc like our football. Hope this one team sport of ours stays clean, and also Basketball follows suit!CHECK OUT OUR FORUM RULES HERE: http://www.persianfootball.com/forums/faq.php
