Kubiak is not in Iran, and that was announced long before his interview, Poland this year has other priorities. so they rotate their roster each weekend and Kubiak was supposed to rest this week.

even though Poland is always good as they are current World Champion but from what I saw yesterday, this Polish team is mediocre and Iran should beat most probably easily. even though nothing is guaranteed in this sport. Serbia B team beat Brazil last night and sent Iran to top of the table.

An absolute flawless game against Canada. This is the most complete Iranian team I have seen in my life.

One of the things I forgot to mention that is different from previous years, is our serving. Our serves used to be a joke and our main drawback compared to world class teams up to even last year. Only Farhad Ghaemi dared to always risk with powerful speed serves and the rest just resorted to slow jumping serves which gave the opponents easy chance to receive and attack. This year our serves are from another world. Incredible stuff. Well done to the coach and players for focusing on and improving this.

Also we can see another big improvement in our receiving and digging. What a joy to have the 20 year old Hazratpour in our team. He has been incredible.
