Colombians are going crazy for CQ and the "phalanx formation" he has brought over to them.

    📍Salir jugando
    📍Juego entre líneas
    📍Acumulación ordenada
    📍Dinamismo y ruptura
    📍Laterales que salen
    📍Superioridad y presión temporal

Buen número de pases (varios a primer toque)

Guys, he did it with us first!

So proud of what Carlos is doing for his new team what an amazing coach. Hope Colombia wins the whole thing, it’d be great to see see him happy and with a trophy ! Also classic Carlos fashion it seems Colombia scored 4 and didn’t concede loool

        Japan is out.
I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

Kudos to Japan for grabbing 2 points with their U23 team. How many points do you think our Omid team would have grabbed in this competition.

The hype for Takefusa Kubo is real. He created many chances and got an 8.0 on Sofascore today. As a Real Madrid fan, I'm looking forward to his development. This kid is still the same age as Sayyadmanesh.

I change my mind, he is a world class player after finally seeing him being tested in a such of an environment. Good player! Hope he does well and represents our continent/confederation well! (Not just him but all Asians!)

Sure, but their FA's antics did not sit well with many South American teams and coaches. To send their U23 to a major continental tournament (at their invitation, not qualification) was viewed by many local nations (see below) as rude, arrogant, and frankly a slap in the face. They should have taken this tournament seriously by sending their best. It's the equivalent of inviting your best friend to your wedding, only to have him send his underage cousin in his place.

CQ is looking very slim these days, guess he cut out kabob from his diet... jokes aside, he is doing a phenomenal job with colombia. seems like he coaches to his players abilities rather than just having a single system. who knows what our team could have achieved under him if we could string 3 freaking passes together. wishing colombia the best during his tenure, hopefully he can win them some hardware. CQ will always be one of us

Agreed they should have invited young emerging teams
who need more competitive exposure like Curacao or maybe even Vietnam.

Didn't Mexico do the same thing in the past?

I doubt it as they normally advanced far in the tournament.
