and that worked for him. that was a back injury. this one is new. shoulder injury. he is going to Germany again. apparently those Iranian Docs were great for him.

they didn't announce a team yet but that's very likely and not "in his place" in World Champs you can send 2 in the same weight. that's for the Olympics which is not limited to one per weight

Nobody knows how fit Rostami is right now. He is training by himself behind close doors.

He is a guy who can come and drop all 3 weights in Tokyo or sweep the gold like he did amazingly in Rio 2016. Hopefully it will be the latter.
