Hadi Choopan at Mr. Olympia 2019

After being denied a US Visa for years, he finally got one this year and competed at Mr. Olympia 2019 (biggest bodybuilding event in the world).

The Persian Wolf as he is called, could have competed in the 212 class (the weight class) and easily be the winner, but he competed in the Open (the main/top category) and become 3rd in his first ever Olympia event!

He won the People's Champion Award, meaning that except for the judges, everybody else thought he was the winner. People are actually pissed off with him being third and say that he should have been at least second.

This is great achievement for a debutant, especially since he's much smaller/lighter than the other guys in men's Open.

Amazing story and results. This is what Iranians do despite the restrictions placed on them internally and externally. The sky is the limit when our people are free from their national and international chains.

He won it last year for sympathy for woman life freedom movement, he was actually better this year than last year...because they robbed Derek last year and gave it to hadi for wlf movement, this year they robbed hadi and gave it to derek.

Hadi wins Arnold Classic 2024 and meets the Terminator (his idol, as he said during his acceptance speech).

Hadi's coach does a better job than the official interperator that's on stage (who is this kid? he was like a deer in the headlights).

2024 Mr Olympia starts this weekend. Let see how he does this year. Last year he finished 2nd.

It will be between him and Lunsford, I think Hadi will be able to take the trophy home.
Another shame is Behrouz Tabani, who had qualified for Olympia, was unable to make it there due to visa issues. Would have been nice to see a second Iranian on that stage.
