I guess Congratulations finished second in the world.

this was good wake up call for amouzad to finish 5th.

Tbh we only finished second due to the fact Russian Points were not awarded in the official Ranking...if they were we would be third behind them.

Greco Roman starts today with 4 iranians and also Amir Arsalan who represents Serbia, as far as i know if the iranian wins he will have Arsalan in his second match

              I hate this khayemal.

During a televised interview, Alireza Dabir, the leader of the wrestling federation, defended Iran's freestyle wrestling performance at the Belgrade World Championships. He pointed fingers at past federations, including Rasul Khadim's era, and squarely placed the recent failure on Pejman Darskar, the head coach of the national freestyle wrestling team.

"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

I dont mean about Dabir but the freestyle team didnt fail, the fought very well, thats wrestling. Some bad chance in the last seconds........in general all who lost could have got Gold.
I am sure they will do great in Paris 24

                    Our wrestlers
wrestled u.s and russ wrestlers 8 times
                    And lost 8 times...
If not 4 medals is not bad.
Problem is next year olympic if we lose in that
rate to rus and us wrestlers
We most probably get 3 or less medal maybe no gold...if not 4 medal is not bad and u right is not a failure...

Infact dabir has gotten best results in iran wrestling history.
but since wrestling is so rooted with persian people , in wc they CARE MORE ABOUT beating russ and us players first
                    Than get medal.
in olympic people want medal and never get.
Dabir whatever he is, since he got beat results in history deserves to keep his job, BUT DOROSTKAR GOT TO GO.

                      Only good thing is
he threw dorostkar under the bus, that means
he will replace him most probably.....

Lol that video is a service to dabir if anything. Sure we hate his politics but he is leaving no stone unturned when it comes to getting these guys resources (look at new training centers-yes multiple he has gotten money for and built). Talking about trying different sports psychologists to solve late losses, etc. Compared to previous federations when Koshti had become a literal afterthought it’s a big improvement

Wish our various football higher ups gave a shit like this guy, and were actually able to deliver some tangible results and make informed decisions as a result of being well versed in the sport itself (Olympic gold medalist).

                          In charge....
but 2 things matter and he has not aChived it
one beating us and russ wrestlers he went 0 for 8
This year against them, and OLYMPIC MEDALS most important.......I was wrong to call for his head ...HE GOT BEST RECORD UNDER HIS BELT..let's hope he change dorostkAR and wins 2 gold in olympic.

                              Bana, not sure.

Khadem unlikely. He's very much on the outside now due to his political statements. He's a great man. True Pahlevan.
