That is how weak minded people think. If you are the best, you don't give a damn who and when you wrestle someone. Amin was shitty from the beginning.

I’m not denying that, but like it or not Lopez is not human. it is funny how we have a world champ who just lost in what was probably the unofficial gold medal match and a former Iranian is technically further in the competition. Lopez is gonna win the gold easily.

If you guys have watched Mirzazadeh, his entire game is based around pushing his opponent all around the mat. The guy is an absolute tank. However as I stated a few days earlier, Lopez was the worst possible match for him. He just cant exert his will and power on him. Mirzazadeh knew that he was not going to be able to move Lopez on the ground and tried to save his energy. Just an all around crappy situation to be in.

Ostad I agree with you. But did you see Amin's first match. The guy was out of it from the beginning. He was not ready. Something was wrong with him, mentally physically... I don't know but his roohieh was not there.

Great analysis. Answer this for me please... why did he take a sar e pa when he had a chance for a possible 2 point turn.

I agree 100% , he barely beat the American in what should have been an easy match. If he got turned he would have lost 3-3. Something was definitely up for sure!

We can't blame Mirzazadeh, he lost to a better wrestler. Lopez knows this game, has clear plans.

In his first match he looked like he didn't want to exhaust himself knowing who he will face right after. The American did challenge him more than expected but he still took it easy, defended pretty well.

He for sure coasted in the first match. Once he was up and saw that Coon couldn't do anything, he went on auto pilot. Smart move to try and save energy.

Assuming Lopez beats shariati at noon, the route for bronze medal is the Korean and then shariati. Yes it would be disappointing but I would take it given we have 0 medals lol

Well I'd gladly welcome a bronze. That'd be a pretty decent result for Mirzazadeh.
