7 golds 3 silvers and 3 bronze out of 20 weights in both styles combined. How does that make you guys feel? Pretty amazing writing it down.

Almost 75 percent medalj rate and 35 percent gold medal rate

Every third wrestler is Gold medalist and 3 out of 4 medalist

Dabir in press conference said we have long way to go in Azad, russia and us are ahead of us. But we are first in GR in the world.
He also said we shouldn't celebrate too long over these results. As our goal is Olympics.

If we leave out this bronze repechage medals that inflate everything.

This is becoming such a good persianfootball tradition. Many interseting competitions are coming up.
The u23 coming up next month. Let us continue following wrestling and keep the thread alive.

We Will have chance to look closely to Up and coming talents and how federation is handling this lower class Nightmare. Also how kadre fanni is adressing technical issues

There's onloy one single event left (GR 87 kg). Since Iran is topping the table at 7 gold, two ahead of the usa, we can already say Iran won the entire event (gold medal ranking seems to be the default in most competitions use).

This is even more impressive given the fact, that Iran only participated 2/3 of the categories (free style and Greco Roman, but not in the women's category), but still took the most gold medals.

That is incredible actually and means world domination in wrestling!

                Congrats to all!

Superb performance from our Pahlevans. We can be really proud of them. They made all of us happy and brought us so much joy.

The fitness level in both categories were amazing, specially GR, as it is more demanding category. Overall some amazing results. We had average age of 22.4 in our FS, which was almost like our U23 team, we had 4 wrestlers, 19 and 20, and Hasan was the oldest with 27. This is amazing stuff.
In GR, the average age was 24.4, two years older than FS but still quiet young, Mardani with 29 was the oldest. and out of our 4 golds all 4 are 25 or younger.

Both Delkhani and Reza Geraei were just few second away from not making to to semi-final and final. Geraei was behind by two points vs Zoidze up to the last 15 sec, and made an amazing come back, and Delkhani fight eneded 3-3 in QF with Ukrainian Temirov who won bronze.

Geraei, cool as a cucumber. He's not even winded for his post-match interview. Most interviews post match, the athletes can't even catch their breath between sentences. It speaks to his amazing stamina and conditioning.

Delkhani is a humble patriot. The Iranian media peanut gallery with the usual embarrassing antics. One of them interrupts the official interpreter to correct him and is literally shoo'ed away by the Euro reporter. Lol.

Reza Geraei was also 1-6 behind vs Shimoyamada in 1/8 final, with less than a min left. ama tarafo ajab zarbe kard. This guy can change a fight any sec.

I was there three days, the headline was Yazdani entering the mat. The roof went almost of. It was really tension and the support for him was crazy!
Sad thing was that it was in mid of vacation here in Norway, so some was out of town. Anyway it was many Iraniens there from morning to night.
The wrestlers gave the fanst value for money and also spent time for photos and small chats. They came out to the stands amongst fans and talked to small and big.
