I can confirm that! I got to meet the whole team at the airport in Frankfurt whilst in transit. I was shaking like a little baby out of excitement. :-D

They were so down to earth and humble, all of them. I praised their performance and the significance of it. All they ever said was: ma koochike shomaim, khahesh mikonam, vazifamoon bood and things like that. The great Yazdani grabbed me as if I was his relative.

Ghasempour, Zare, Golij, all of them were very easy to talk to. It even seemed they were more happy than me to have their picture taken. They are all heroes and pahlevans.

they were tight with him in shiraz before he was arrested/executed. I think childhood friends. they posted about his arrest but authorities basically forced them to remove posts. This was a while ago though not recent obviously.
