Im also sad because of the results but we have to accept that some wrestlers made some dumb mistakes or were unlucky, our coaches are the best we have and im still happy and hope we do better in future.

Everything would have been different if Gerai won Gold and Saravi beat the Armenian beast,.......thats it sometimes.

Besides this rule being totally retarded, counter-intuitive, and super damaging for our athletes who spend the entire year training for these events (and Little Yazdani is silver medal holder!) it is interesting that they kicked out an entire nation (Russia) but then Iranians are told not to politicize sports.

Either everybody is IN OR each country can decide they refuse to play this or that country without punishment

Mohammad Nokhodi in 79kg could possibly face an israeli in the quarterfinals.

And of course as mentioned earlier, Amir Yazdani's first match is against an Israeli.

I don't see any other Israelis in the first four weights starting tomorrow.

This is a fucken disaster. Amir Yazdani was a lock for a medal and could get even gold.

It's well past time to end this disasterous policy of not competing against Israeli.

Israel is a fucken cancer that has killed lots of Iranians and is the number one reason the US maintains its sanctions so strongly against Iran but it's time we compete with Israel and at least get some pay back against them in the sports world. Their athletes generally suck especially in sports Iran competes in so what better way to get some revenge against Israel than smashing their athletes over and over again?

IR is dumb for maintaining this stupid and self-defeating policy.
