Wow. What a day. Why didn't we have this coach in the Olympics?? For the first time our wrestlers are fighting till the last second.

Sarlak overachieved by far. Yazdani and Nokhodi performed better than expected too.

Finally an Iranian beats Cox. I wish Ghasempour wasn't in Hasan's weight. I think he could beat Taylor more easily.

The level of fitness was great, and no surprise, the team is really young, our boys won too many tight fights in the last second today. Good job coaching staffs.

Iran is the youngest team of the tournament with 24.1 years old age.

The most amazing in all that was Kamran Ghasempoor beating Cox, he was for years in shadow of Hasan Yazdani(harif tamrini) and had no chance to compete in 86, it is his first world champ competition and in new weight. Another great wrestler from Jooybar, i guess 5 or 6 of this team are from Jooybar.

elahi showed strong performance at junior worlds couple months ago, taking gold. He is one to watch as well.
