All in all it has been one of the best tournaments in Iranian history.

- We clinched the heavyweight after 32 years
- Hassan Yazdani has taught a whole nation what being a pahlevan and champion mean.
- Our depth is increasing in heavier weights.
- Our young team, still not fully developed showed the whole world they can compete, even when they are at 50-60 percent of their potential. Other countries are shitting themselves right now.
- Kadre fani (technical committe) is doing great work once again after heavy criticism a few years ago
- Heavyweight is revolutionized forever (imho) thanks to gable stevenson and zare. The new type of HW have made a HUGE contribution not only to their countries but also the sport
- We have learnt all in all to figure out opponents (see kadre fani point).

Khaste nabashan. Im SO PROUD. These guys are living heroes. They keep on sacrificing their lives (quite literaly bc they dont invest in their lives) just to makes us proud and keep us happy. Our boys are keeping our heritage alive and strong.

One more thing: The coverage of the commentators and experts is really good this year. They are very competent, classy, know how to talk about serious technical issues without making it personal, always are on point, and root for us in a good way.

...which is another way of saying nature and nurture (likely a combination of specific genetic traits to allow for the body build necessary for wrestling, as well as good training, support, motivation, wrestling tradition/history, etc
