5 gold medal fights, 1 bronze medal fight, and one in repecaghe as we speak.
We are steam rolling everyone.
Having these many gold medal contenders in u20 or u23 means we will produce at least a few gold medal contenders for senior level. Ever since u23 was introduced: we have benefitted greatly. The transition to seniors have become smoother. Also Dabir is adressing the issue of transition and have some of the best coaches for transition purposes to senior level.

In greco: 2 golds, 1 silver and 1 bronze as of now. Out of 3 competing finalists 2 won gold. 2 finalists left.
These last years have been truly crazy and weird in a good way. Greco Roman wrestling has always been a sport where the medals are distributed evenly amongst competing countries. Iran is really bagging majority of medals. It is a hard sport to do this in. Much harder than freestyle wrestling.

After the Olympics there was a discussion here about changing our MAZANDARANI style. The last 2 days we are 3-1 against Japanese wrestlers. In the matches we won, we were able to neutralize the Japanese wrestler with closing distance and utilizing the underhook game. The one match we lost we didn’t do a very good job and literally gave up points to blast doubles on several occasions. The point is that when style is so engrained in our wrestling DNA, we shouldn’t really abandon it. We should do some tweaks to see why it’s getting neutralized. The single leg is also another move that is synonymous with our wrestling. It was great seeing our youngsters hitting that move over and over again with huge success.
