Gegard's case is different than that racist Kurdish traitor. Mousasi's parents fled Armenia because of the war, he is not like Teymourian for example (Armenians who have been living in Iran for generations or centuries). I know Gegard personally, he is a really cool guy and he loves Iran, always mentions how much he respects Iran and is proud to have been born there. It's like someone who's parents are Iranian but was born in for example Iraq and lived there for a few years with his family as a child and then leaves for the United States. Gegard Mousasi was born from Armenian parents (Armenian nationals) who had recently fled Armenia, and lived in Iran until he was around four years of age, so still a child. He grew up in Holland, and whenever i saw him (we have mutual friends) he always spoke Persian (broken Persian) and mentioned how much he cares for Iran and Iranian people.

The Iranian mathematician's case is different, he actually is an Iranian but he is a separatist who refuses to speak Persian. I've met plenty of these type of racist Iranian Kurds. About the Assyrian guy, i don't know much about his background but Assyrians are not originally from Iran but from Iraq. Assyrians usually have little connection with Iran and claim that their ancestral land is in the northern parts of Iraq, the ones i've met all said that Iraqi Kurds oppress them and take their lands. So much for the "democrat" Kurds.

Kurds are promoted by the West and Israeli's as being these liberal freedom loving people. Emancipated, feminists etc but these are all lies in order to push for the creation of a fake Kurdistan. That's how they want to give them legitimacy in order to balkanize Iran, Iraq and Turkey (by portraying Iranians and Turks as the dictator minded oppressive people vs the innocent, good hearted, freedom loving democrat Kurds aka good vs evil). There is no such thing as a Kurdish state. Iran is for all Iranians.

It is just a strange form of "lajbazi" from his side but unfortunately for him, it is undeniable that his achievements are indeed related to Iran. You can be the greatest Genius on the planet without the right education-system it will lead you nowhere. And specially in Mathematics and Physics Iran has high standard universities and facilities.
I don't believe in this pan-Iranic stuff. Iran is for all Iranians, Kurds are Iranian speakers but an Iranian is someone who loves and cares for his country. People such as Ali Daei, Karim Bagheri and Hossein Kaabi. "Non-Iranic" people but true Iranian patriots, now compare these champions to someone like that "Iranic" mathematician. Iranic does not mean anything, being Iranian does and Iran is for all Iranians!

First of all it would be great if you wouldn't accuse me of being pan- in any way. Moreover, i think we have a fundamental disagreement with one another in defining what "Iranian" should mean.

I am not agreeing with the notion, that being Iranian is reducible to the borders of what is today I.R.- since Persian-Speakers (Tajiks) in Afghanistan/Uzbekistan/Tajikistan+ Ossetians+Tats+Zaza etc. are all Iranians too.

Nation-states are artificial and modern conception, that lack most of the time any historical substance ( of-course not in the case of Iran, since this idea is traceable back to the Sassanian-Times). In arguing that Iranians are only from I.R. you are not only excluding many major figures of the Iranian Civilization- such as Biruni/Rumi who were born outside of I.R.- from being Iranian, but also Tajiks/Afghans/Ossets etc.

Of course in indicating, that Afghans, Tajiks etc. were part of the same language family, culture etc. i am not intending to use that fact for political "Greater-Iran" Visions/Ambitions - that separates me from being Pan-Iranian. Moreover i am not saying that someone like Andranik Teymourian, as an Iranian Armenian, is not belonging to Iran or can be seen as a Iranian, since he was raised in a cultural Iranian climate and identifies himself with Iran ( culture/history). And of course Iran is open to everyone who feels connected not just with the country BUT also with the CULTURE&HISTORY. Not being Iranic ( f.e. Assyrian born in Iran) doesn't automatically imply being non-Iranian, since feeling connected to the History&Culture of Iranzamin, is what is what matters most.

People like Caucher are just ungrateful and separate themselves from other Iranians, which is sad and lacks any serious arguments. When highlighting that Kurds are Iranics, i intended to show the obscurity/absurdity in claiming that Kurds are not Iranian. That would mean 80% of Irans finest Kamancheh,Tar,Daf-players (who are mostly Kurds) don't belong to Iran...

PS: By the way i totally disagree with you that Bagheri or Daei are not Iranics, since Azaris are Iranics just like Kurds, Lur etc.
