The issue is our Diaspora does not play for Iran. The closest we have are people like Ashkan or Zandi, etc.
Ashkan, zandi, gucci that aren't good enough for Germany or the Netherlands.
    The only exception is ghoddos

So it's an American guy using Iranian laws to hold his wife back over some dispute? :|

Ashkan played for the U-23 German national team and got into a lot of hot water for not taking a trip to Israel with the team. He could have played for the German national team, but chose Iran.

The Israel thing and the fact that Germany had much better players than him closed the doors for him to play for the senior German national team.

He had no choice but to choose Iran

I actually interpreted it the other way. He declined to travel to Israel as a U-23 German player to keep the door open for his Iran national team participation. If he had traveled to Israel as a U-23, he would have never been able to play for TM (for obvious reasons). He sacrificed his U-23 German career and potentially/likely the senior German NT spot in order to play for Iran.

This is a separate Winter sport, but does Iran have a Curling team?

I read more into this. Samira Zargari alleges her husband has been cheating on her with her best friend! If this is true, then the husband continues to be worse than imagined.
