I don't care whether they lose today...I wish Team Melli reaches a point to play like Croatia and Ukraine.

Their ball distribution is world class. We have arguably better strikers but if we could create chances and pass/maintain possession like them our team would be so much better equipped.

I'm not referring to a gheyrati performance, I'm talking purely about the technical side where we can hold possession against World class teams for greater than 30 seconds to a minute at a time, it would be a great asset to have to minimize the pressure our team tends to face when defending a tie or win against an equal or better opponent.

There has been some great matches so far
Italy dominated which is good news i love to see big boys doing good never been underdog fan.
Denmark would of won against finland if it wasnt for that drama .
Swiss could of won too but they got cut off gaurd.

Belgium nicely managed russia.

Glad to see Austria back in international soccer big tournment as they always pay ok soccer just cant get result.

Holland played the best soccer i seen him play since 2014.

Netherlands-Ukraine has been the best match so far. This time it's better than 2016 some enjoyable games but smaller teams sitting back deep and stronger teams also not willing to over commit since you can go through with 3 points, is making for some lacklustre shows also.

I honestly think it has been really bad so far.
Beautiful fields, camerawork and top level athletes, but football tactics now are going to what they used to be in the early to mid 90s - congested.

Scotland unlucky and a bit uninspiring in the finishing. Easily the better team but Czech striker scored two great goals for a deserved win. This group will be very open
