I am by no means fan of England team (and was supporting Italy in the finals), but I've realized that 99.9% of Youtube videos are created with a pre-determined agenda before even shooting the clip. About sports, politics, history, etc....

The end result is already determined, before they even start shooting the clip...so they are very inconclusive...I hate England fans for booing opposition national anthem btw, I've never seen this shit anywhere before.

A foreigner can post the video of 100k Iranians doing Heil Hitler salute during German national anthem in Azadi stadium back in 2004 and say how all Iranians are neo-fascists.

mmmmm..... Yeh, but that is neither here nor there. English fans are by far the most violent pricks there are anywhere. These videos are not made up. These things happened and they happen every time the English "fans" are around. I have never seen such fights during NFL, NBA games amongst fans. Even superbowls, games between bitter rivals, do not produce such violence.

Some social psychologists should really start a research projects studying why the English are such self-important, arrogant, yet violent pricks.

Blame everyone but themselves for being stuck in the doldrums (some rightly so) have a problem with authority, have no respect for anything or anyone as they generally have very little themselves.

They are angry about an awful lot (again quite rightly in some cases) and generally don't need a huge excuse to show there anger in the form of violence.

When England are playing in major tournaments they all come out of the woodwork and mix its like a massive social occasion throw in copious amounts of alcohol and illicit drugs and you have the perfect storm.

Its not a new problem, nor a problem that is uniquely English by any stretch of the imagination, but England does have huge Swathes of post industrial working class areas that have been left behind where unemployment and deprivation is rife, and its that fuels the fires that brings out the worst in people.

Although some of this is true, it is somewhat of a simplistic take and ignores many more factors. There are large swaths of people worldwide who are left behind, not prospering in the new global economy. You can find them in US, Canada, most of central and south America, Middle-East, our own Iran, etc, etc. Nowehere, and I mean no where does this translate to hooliganism at the level the English resort too.

This being left behind also does not explain the fact that even in the 70s, 80s, etc, the same problem existed. I myself witnessed the English hooligans in Holland after a club game. They utterly destroyed a town square. I am always surprised as why the other countries even allow them to travel to these games.

I think the problem is rooted in Racism deeply rooted in the very whole of English existence. For centuries, they (their elites) lorded over other countries, raping and pillaging every country the got to, and then (with a straight face) claimed they were civilizing them or promoting human rights. It is really what their ruling class has done over centuries that is coming home to roost.

Now their ruling class, the old Lords and Barons, the banks, etc, are too scared to face the consequences and are finding new things to occupy their working class, new scapegoats to blame their misery on. All in the hope that the working class do not figure out what is really the root-cause of their misery. This didn't start in the 2000s, or the 90s, or even seventies. It started after the second war, when the British Empire could not squeeze (though they tried) other countries as much and had to resort to squeezing their own brethren to maintain the grip on wealth and power.

And here we are. Its not going to get any better soon. US politicians are using the same tactics now, distracting the left and right with pointless controversies about whether black lives or blue lives matter, whether being woke should be an insult or a complement, constantly fanning the flames of division anywhere they see it.

The solution is for the regular people, whether white or black, liberal or conservative, Christian or Moslem, to figure out that they are not each other's enemy. Figure out that they have a common enemy and that is the ruling class, the guys who run banks to bankruptcy and have us print more money, they guys who create real and imagined enemies worldwide so they can make another buck, the guys who run the news companies who feed us news on Kim Kardashian's butt size rather than the trillions of dollars that they are stealing.

Sorry about the long rant.....But this really is at the heart of many of the world's problems including hooliganism in the beautiful game.
