Yazdani had this in the bag and let it slip at the very end. It’s a mental issue, nothing else.

    This hurts so much.

Yazdanis coach should have challenged that score in the beginning he let it go

The coach shouldve challenged the early push off. Could have been the difference

I love Yazdani but Tylor was a better wrestler today.
Again, most of our wrestlers struggles in the 2nd 3 minutes. Even our elite ones.

              Wouldn't change.
Tylor had 2 times 2 points.

Looking at the takedown at the end, Taylor pushed Yazdani s head to disrupt his focus then quickly attacked both legs. A smart move to be honest. Yazdani was always going to play defensive in the lead with 10 seconds to go. I think he should’ve attacked though and not given Taylor a chance to squeeze something out

it could have changed how the match was wrestled though.
Anyways I think that in Worlds Hassan underestimated Taylor's gas tank / thought his own could go the distance wrestling his usual freakish. aggressive tactic and pace

But tonight he opted for a far more measured approach, in hindsight too measured. He was stuffing taylors attempts for much of the 6 mins, means that the chance of one missed defense increases exponentially. On flip side defensive tactic was
probably correct to large degree, taylor flew in with so much energy but was really subdued by yazdani's style, probably for the first time ever.

Just feel like Hassan showed probably a little too much respect and at times had the strength offensively to do more damage than he did.

Thanks for the kind words. At least I could put in some value to a forum. Also very, very glad I'm following the Olympics in wrestling with you guys! It means alot.

Everyone kept saying how yazdani was bad against naifonov, how taylor would do this and that. It turned out just as epected, a really close fight.
On another day Yazdani would've won.

Telesm nashkast tho! We still don't have any 2x, 3x olympic champ. We're still underperforming in Olympics. It's tough!

The game plan was perfect. You don’t want to get into this crazy shooting battle/scramble with Taylor. Hassan imposed his will by constantly moving Taylor around and out of the mat. He just got caught on the wrong foot at the end. Definitely a mental lapse. Yazdani needs to really feed his fuel off of this and make sure this doesn’t happen again in Paris.

So Mohammadian is facing Elizbar Odikadze from Georgia tomorrow. They were matched up back in 2015 where Odikadze had won the match.
If i am not wrong Mohammadian would face in the Quarterfinal most likely Sadulaev...

I was refering to Khodaei who was guess on irib3.
His first fight is against Odikadze of Georgia, world bronze medalist and i guess QF or semi vs Olympics champs and World gold medalist Snyder from us.

Do you think our boys may have gotten COVID-19 before the Olympics ? It would explain the poorer than normal fitness.
