This too, but in case of Yadzani they put too much pressure on him in last 2 years. Because he is probably the only super star of our wrestling team. Plus he lost to Tylor twice, so believe it or not at some point, it will have an impact.

yazdani did the same thing in rio in 2016 and now taylor did. wow sport can be cruel!

David Taylor really likes Hassan Yazdani. He has kept on emphasizing Yazdanis strength for a few years in interviews.

The guy trains at Calavittas fitness dungeon and he don't want media attention on that fact. In a few years we will see how the tests will work out.
The same goes for Mohammadian. I generally believe the awareness of banned substances need to increase and that all fans should be more aware of those issues.

Time will tell if DT is genetically superior. He has tremendous skills too.

Disclaimer: For me this is not a partisan issue at all. I just think this normalization of banned substances that takes place in the public opinion needs to stop. That we need to talk about it and need to be aware and always honor clean fighters.

As philosophy said, it’s the will to win. I have several close friends that wrestled in college in the US. Their mental strength and will to succeed on the mats is on another level. In the US it’s all about breaking your opponent mentally. They create a non existent conflict in their head to absolutely hate their opponent on the mats. If anyone likes books about mental toughness, i suggest reading Dan Gable’s book. The most decorated American wrestler ever.
