I've been talking of this cause I can't believe my eyes regarding DT. But I honestly don't know. Only know that it is way more rigorous than in worlds competitions. They should test each and everyone that competes. Blood, urine samples the whole kit! They should keep it for 20 years. Zero tolerance: Fail one time, get stripped of all medals regardless of when testing positive and life time ban!

Personally I will leave the discussions of PEDs because ppl will think im a sore loser. I want to emphasize that I hope DT is 100 percent clean and that we should regard him that way until the opposite is proven. It's not even about him rather than martial arts and power sports at olympics and how ridden it is with the problem.

It's hard to avoid though when people are thinking that there are extreme stamina issues in iranian wrestling. Thing is: This is a recurring discussion that has it's roots right after the war with Iraq. That generation had horrible stamina. The generation before this selection ie 2014 had really good stamina in Iran...but in retrospect they were injury ridden.

Maybe! Agencies have learn't to keep samples and retest them cause cheating techniques get more sophisticated. Blood doping is advanced.

Now I have a confession to make that will not sit down easily with fellow hamvatans in here: I will not watch or follow Mohammadian tomorrow cause of his history. He had anabolic steroids in his body and basically blamed it on diluted protein shakes! So much dishonour and un-Iranian wrestling culture going on.....

as of now all credit to DT. having said that, I know hes always been a great wrestler for US but he is also 30 and really just became elite at worldwide tournaments over the past few years if im not mistaken. usually wrestlers dont just magically appear in their late 20's as far as im aware. Apparently it was due to him always focusing on wrestling in his youth and not putting time in the gym. well supposedly he got his fitness and stamina to a whole new level and that is why he is dominant. does seem a little sus to me but I guess time will tell

Also want to add that things have moved forward regarding the Wrestling federation:

- I have honestly seen extreme decrease in extreme cases of biased refrees. They even sent home 3 during 2016 olympics!

- Since 2016 I can't honestly say I have seen refree mistakes obviously biased.

Yes but to his defence: Their weight classes have been stacked in the Us in 74 kg and 86 kg ... Now 86 kg is a joke in the US

But then again: In his fights with Cox for the 2017 worlds he totally broke Cox down. Are iranians saying Cox is weak? lol He was horsing Cox around. Cox just sweated and stalled in every fight. It was one of the grossest display of sweating ive ever seen!

I seriously hope and pray all of our athletes are clean! Dont want to see this happens to us losing medals in few years because of such cheating.

As DT mentioned, Yaz was stronger and could have won it. The timing was the issue in several cities if he won, how to control the crowd. Millions could demonstrate and chant.
