LOL Reuters still writes that Poland´s lose to Iran is a "shock". For Western media every time Iran beats white nations, it´s a shock.

Politics affect people, among them fans and referees.

Referees in close calls have voted against us.

Our federations run by incompetent people who many of them never played that particular sport have hurt us too.

Administrators in high positions are not bothered if we lose.

In my view, fans should take more active role, beyond posting on this site by writing. A federation receiving over 1000 emails is one way to send our message(s).

Watched her match and she seemed quite solid. Idk if she has any chance at medal though. The same Maldive player also got demolished by a Chinese player before facing Soraya

Hopefully she can continue to play well against other competition too

I also had a feeling her opponent was not worthy. Soraya barely broke a sweat (despite having all the additional layers), while the Maldives player was soaked. Maldives also made a ton of unforced errors. Sorayo smartly just kept it in play until her opponent screwed up. Let's see how she does on her next match.
