I love the hype! LET'S GO!

If Haddadi was 5 years younger he would be getting an NBA contract after these olympics. He was sensational.

Yakhchali is a good prospect for the future. I also like Jamshidi a lot...

Guys like Hassanzadeh and Davarpanah have good energy off the bench. Jalalpoor has good energy and ball handling too..

Overall the team was pretty solid against dozens of NBA players over a couple of days. Only was disappointed with Rostampour and Geramipour

I think we could have beat czech if we didnt start with rostampour and geramipour. feel like they, specifically mike is just a con man we signed because he has tattoos and acts tough but he was awful!

Taftian just ran. 10.19 and finished 4th in his heat. I think he is eliminated. Missed out by 0.02 seconds.

Brutal draw for us at 130kg in greco but a pretty good draw for our 60kg wrestler.

Finally the wait is over and the wrestling matches start tomorrow morning. We have a good draw in 60kg and Nejati is someone I mentioned has a medal chance before the games. So we might finally see our 2nd medal secured tomorrow evening if he wrestles to his potential!

"The Iranians rarely get to compete against NBA-caliber players or see NBA-sized facilities. So even largely empty, the Saitama Super Arena is an adjustment for most of Kazemi's teammates.

“They haven’t seen a gym this big,”
he said. "It’s going to take them probably two, three days just to get used to the gym.

“If they would have allowed fans it would have taken probably 30 games to get used to the arena and all that.”

Kazemi, 31, said Iran's biggest facility has a capacity of about 2,500. And because of political sanctions against his country and travel restrictions due to the coronavirus, there were precious few opportunities to even get any road games.

The 6-foot-7 forward said Iran had a couple tuneup games against Spain and three against host Japan. Meanwhile, the U.S. hosted Spain, Australia, Argentina and Nigeria in Las Vegas for exhibition opponents that were good enough to make up an Olympic semifinals.

“They have their training came in Las Vegas, they stay in one time zone,” Kazemi said of those clubs. “These five games that we played, I traveled through maybe six different time zones to be able to play in these games.”

I can't tell you the exact time because it could vary depending on how the other matches go but you can bookmark the below link and check the time as day goes by. Quarterfinal and semifinal will be played tomorrow, but repecharge and finals will be the next day.

It’s too bad wrestling matches don’t have exact start times (like Taekwondo for example). Hard to know when our boys will be up in advance.

Stupid excuses. Most of these guys have 60+ Caps for TM. Also Azadi’s indoor facility has 10,000 capacity no? So I don’t know why he’s saying things like this.
