Come on brother. Whether the ref was biased made no impact whatsoever on the result of the match against Mirzazadeh and Lopez. Mirzazadeh needed a miracle to beat Lopez. Lopez is arguably the greatest wrestler of all time and he is in a different league than any 130kg wrestler Iran could produce and he showed it in the match. Mirzazadeh didnt have a chance against him and I dont mean this as an insult to Mirzazadeh but its just a reality of how dominant Lopez has been for nearly two decades. The guy is a 3x olympic champion which is absolutely crazy he also has 5 world championships. His career is second to none.

My solution would be the following:

1. Get rid of tie-breaker criteria in Greco. Put in extra rounds of fights until there is a winner. What is the point of splitting up the competition if they wont maximize the benefits of it?

2. Get rid of the passivity shot clocks and reinstate automatic par-terre for each wrestler. The thing is everyone will feel like they were the more active wrestlers and judges themselves can get it wrong. Other times like this they can use it to be biased.
