Damn one Olympic it’s Jordan Burroughs that’s the problematic competition, this time it’s David Taylor. Every Olympic we have one American wrestler that’s the thorn in our side. I hope Yazdani gets his redemption this time. Looks like the only Iranian who has beaten Taylor is Ehsan Lashgari back in 2015.

In volleyball, Saeed Marouf announced retirement on Tuesday August 3, 2021. I heard he posted this news on his Instagram.
He was instrumental for our volleyball, especially in his younger days. I am not sure for his club retirement. This was his retirement from the National team.
I wish him consider coaching a team because of his experience. I thank him for his service and contribution.
I wish there was something for him and the likes of him to say thank you.

I just don’t understand the draw in Yazdani’s group. He is getting a couple of tough matches as the number 1 seed and Taylor literally has a cake walk to the final on the other side.

Punia has been wrestling "good", the brackets are actually quite even. Naifonov isn't anything special and gets manhandled by both Taylor and Yazdani.
