Its the game, you can’t make a mistake like that at that level. Like football you play well but lose your head and get red card in a final.
Sad way to lose, but he made a mistake, and at Olympic final , mistakes cost you gold.

Exactly, this is karate. Which is all about composure and self defence, that kick belongs to kickboxing. Wrong sport, so well deserved.

yes he broke his thumb on left arm few days before the olympics and Iranian reporters kept it a secret so his opponents wouldn’t take advantage of it. They just said it today.

For now just quickly: This was our second best Olympics after London. Even better than Rio because of the 2 silver in Tokyo. Only 1 silver in Rio.

Apparently they beat the same Saudi guy few times before, our athletes need physiologist around them in big tournaments, too many mental collapses.
I don't know anything about Karaté but didn't look convincing at all.

Correct in general, but Sajjad was even injured before he started his first fight. As much as we need to limit mental issues, our athletes get to quickly injured. Here we need to find solutions. Anyone knows whats the issue with all these injuries we have? Mohammad Ali Geraei also mentioned he had injuries and that´s why he could not win a medal.

Another quick issue: Hopefully Taylor and Lasha will be tested for substances very soon. They should really come clean. Here we may be a bit hopeful for Yazdani and Davoudi.
