Iran lost the semi-final to Poland 1-3. Iran had lost to Poland 3-0 in its group. So 1-3 was an improvement. Many sets were close and could have gone either way.

Iran will play for the chance for the third place against Russia which also is a tough team.

The volleyball games will end today (Sept. 2, 2021, started on August 24). I am HAPPY games were held in Iran and some fans enjoyed these games.

In its last game, Iran faced Russia for the third place. Iran won 3-2 against Russia. Out of twenty teams, ranking third is a great achievement for our players. They gained a great experience in this tournament which will help them in the future.

None of our players are ranked in top scoring categories among servers, receivers, etc.

Final in one hour between Poland Bulgaria.
