We beat Japan at their home with their crowds. That felt great.

Very impressive performances. Apart from Ebadipour the rest of the team are 21-23 years old. This 2nd golden generation will be the backbone of TM for the next 10 years.

What drives me crazy is that during big tournaments we lose easily to teams like Japan, in olympic we did as well as world league. Why is it when it matters we tank?

Nevertheless congrats to the championship.

We let the older players dominate the squad and they couldn't deliver when it matters. I love guys like Maaroof, but he proved that he does not have the leadership and capacity to captain a team when they're struggling.
Otherwise in terms of development and scouting we have a consistent system now that churns out really good players.
